Black Saturday bushfires

Australia's worst ever bushfires has left at least 173 people dead, affected 78 individual townships in total and left an estimated 7,500 people homeless.

As a result of the bushfires, many hundreds of burnt animals required care in wildlife centres across Victoria. Additionally, six wildlife care centres were destroyed by the bushfires.
