Comparing

Today one of my colleagues asked how I feel when I check the prices in shops here in Luanda!
I just told her that if I fall into that mistake of comparing lifestyle here to somewhere else I’ve lived before I’ll lose the motivation and will be dreaming about airplanes to take me out of here!

Don’t get me wrong there are heaps of things here that make my day!

But is really an exercise that sometimes I have to do, of not being stuck in past lifestyle habits, “standards”, social behaviors, relationships to actually LIVE here or any other new environment!

So if you don't have apples better balance your diet and start appreciating the oranges, otherwise you'll starve!...
